Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Chaparral Firebirds, falling 3-0. The Mountain Lions were not able to make up for their loss to the Firebirds from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-14.

Brinlee Shoemaker paced Mountain View's offense, picking up six kills. Shoemaker got some help from Pennylaine Buglewicz and her 12 assists.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Chaparral, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-4.

Mountain View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Notre Dame Prep on the 9th. As for Chaparral, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Desert Mountain on the 9th.
