A well-balanced attack led Putnam City North over Eisenhower in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Putnam City North Panthers blew the Eisenhower Eagles out of the water with a 73-39 final score. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Putnam City North was led to victory by Anthony Leonard and Nate Muriithi. Leonard went 8-for-19 to rack up 16 points along with eight rebounds and six assists, while Muriithi dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten boards. Those 16 points gave Leonard a new career-high. Mekhi Thomas was another key player, going 5-for-11 on his way to 14 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Putnam City North and bumps their season record up to 15-8. As for Eisenhower, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-17.

Looking ahead, Putnam City North will venture away from home to take on Edmond Santa Fe at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eisenhower, they will face off against Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
