Volleyball Recap: Keys Gate Find Success

While Keys Gate's win against LaProgresiva Presbyterian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Keys Gate won by a set and slipped past LaProgresiva Presbyterian 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Keys Gate has posted since August 21st.

Keys Gate took LaProgresiva Presbyterian into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-19, 14-25, 19-25, 15-6.

Keys Gate has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for LaProgresiva Presbyterian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Keys Gate is taking a road trip to face off against Somerset College Prepartory Academy South at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for LaProgresiva Presbyterian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Edison Private at 4:00 p.m. on October 6.
