Softball Recap: Hillsboro/Central Valley Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Kindred/Richland

Hillsboro/Central Valley faced Kindred/Richland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The H-CV Burros lost 21-0 to the Colts. The H-CV Burros haven't had much luck with the Colts recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Hillsboro/Central Valley's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Kindred/Richland, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

Looking ahead, Hillsboro/Central Valley will venture away from home to challenge Mandan at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kindred/Richland, they will square off against Central Cass at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
