Bowie is a perfect 10-0 against Irvin since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bowie Bears will welcome the Irvin Rockets at 7:30 p.m. Bowie will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.

Bowie's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Fabens with a sharp 7-0 win. With that victory, the Bears brought their scoring average up to 2.8 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting Fabens from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Amy Acevedo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Irvin). They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Mountain View 2-1. That's two games straight that the Rockets have won by just one goal.

Bowie is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those six contests. As for Irvin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-10.

Bowie took their win against Irvin when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 7-0. Does Bowie have another victory up their sleeve, or will Irvin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
