Mason is 9-1 against Center Point since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Mason will square off against Center Point at 6:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Mason came up short against Johnson City on Tuesday, falling 8-1. The Punchers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Center Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 14-1 to Goldthwaite.

Center Point saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesse Segura, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Mason's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Center Point, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Everything went Mason's way against Center Point in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Mason made off with a 15-0 victory. Does Mason have another victory up their sleeve, or will Center Point turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
