Soccer Recap: LaFayette Takes a Loss

LaFayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 6-1 to the Calhoun Yellow Jackets. If LaFayette were looking for revenge after losing 6-0 to Calhoun when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

LaFayette's goal came courtesy of Prezleigh Baty, which was the first she's scored this season.

LaFayette's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Calhoun, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

Coming up, LaFayette will be playing at home against Gilmer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calhoun, they will head out to challenge Wesleyan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
