It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Decatur had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Michigan Lutheran Titans as they made off with a 9-1 victory. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Decatur's third in a row) raised their record to 21-8. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Michigan Lutheran, they moved to 19-14 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Decatur has already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Summerfield on the 7th. Michigan Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
