Basketball Recap: Pelican Rapids Comes Up Short

Pelican Rapids was the 84-63 winner over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pelican Rapids Vikings took a 61-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Rebels. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Vikings came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Rebels are ranked 73rd).

Pelican Rapids' loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.

Pelican Rapids has already played their next matchup (against Breckenridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton will be playing in front of their home fans against Frazee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton is facing Frazee at the right time seeing as Frazee is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
