Recap: Custer County Bobcats vs. Hoehne Farmers
The Custer County Bobcats''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Hoehne, falling 84-12. Custer County has struggled against Hoehne recently, as their game on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Hoehne to victory were Levon Bachicha and Anthony Sandoval. Bachicha rushed for 172 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, while Sandoval rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. Bachicha's longest rush was for an incredible 85 yards. Jake Magninat was another key contributor, punching in a rushing score.
Custer County's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 9.3 points per game. As for Hoehne, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
