Basketball Recap: Williams Field Comes Up Short

Williams Field was the 56-48 winner over Queen Creek when they last played one another back in January of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Williams Field Black Hawks fell just short of the Queen Creek Bulldogs by a score of 61-58 on Wednesday.

Williams Field's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Queen Creek, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 11-8.

Williams Field will be playing at home against Higley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Higley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Williams Field likes a good challenge. As for Queen Creek, they will challenge Desert Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Queen Creek is facing Desert Ridge at the right time seeing as Desert Ridge is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
