Jamison Roach and Adam Palanuk were huge no matter where they played even without the win. On the mound, Roach tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Palanuk struck out ten batters over 3.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). Roach has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. At bat, Roach scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Palanuk went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
