Baseball Game Preview: Westview Wolverines vs. Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy

The Westview Wolverines will challenge Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy on Thursday. Westview's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three matchups, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Westview is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nebraska's top teams: Papillion-LaVista South, who was ranked second at the time (Westview was ranked 24th). The Wolverines lost 10-1 to the Titans on Tuesday.

Westview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Scott Miner II, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over Roncalli Catholic on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy in their matchups with Roncalli Catholic: they've now won three in a row.

Jon Primmer was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Primmer was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6.
