After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Christ Church Episcopal, Powdersville was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Palmetto Mustangs a 4-0 shutout. Powdersville might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by three goals or more this season.

Powdersville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those five contests. Palmetto now has a losing record of 5-6.

Powdersville and Palmetto will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time Powdersville sees the pitch they'll take on Christ Church Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on April 10. As for Palmetto, their break will end when they face Carolina Academy at 7:00 p.m. on April 10.
