Softball Recap: Oak Hill Comes Up Short

Oak Hill lost against Bunkie back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rams fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 6-5. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Braylee Cedus was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. Jodie Jowers was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

Oak Hill now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Bunkie, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Hill will face off against Glenmora at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bunkie, they will challenge Oakdale at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
