After losing to New Bremen the last time they met, Ansonia decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp  12-2 win on Monday.
 Addie Geyer spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on three hits and racked up seven Ks.
 On the hitting side, Ansonia got a  massive  performance out of  Lillian Kaiser, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Avalyn Locke, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-3.
 Ansonia  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .541. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Bremen only posted  an  OBP of  .346.
The  victory  got Ansonia back to even at 4-4. As for New Bremen,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ansonia will square off against Twin Valley South at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.6  runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for New Bremen, they will head out to  take on Fort Recovery  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
