Huron proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by eight) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand the Grosse Pointe North Norsemen a 1-0 shutout. Huron's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Huron pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Grosse Pointe North, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huron will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Melvindale at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grosse Pointe North, they will challenge Lake Shore at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
