Baseball Recap: Marlboro Takes a Loss

Marlboro lost against Donovan Catholic back in April of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs fell 10-6 to the Griffins.

Marlboro has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Donovan Catholic, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marlboro will venture away from home to face off against Liberty at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Donovan Catholic, they will head out to square off against Manasquan at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
