Soccer Recap: Roseville Extends Winning Streak to Four

It's playoff time, and Roseville had no trouble coming through when it counted. They won by a goal and slipped past the Vista del Lago Eagles 1-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in December of 2024.

Roseville's one-goal win came courtesy of Alex Peterson, who's now up to six this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Roseville, bringing their record for this year to 17-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for Vista del Lago, they moved to 12-6 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Roseville and Vista del Lago are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Roseville is taking a road trip to take on Clayton Valley Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vista del Lago, they will head out to challenge Mountain View at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
