Peru is a perfect 10-0 against AuSable Valley since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Nighthawks will be playing at home against the Patriots at 4:30 p.m. Peru's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, Peru needed a bit of extra time to put away Northeastern Clinton. They had just enough and edged out the Cougars 4-3. The high-scoring effort was just what Peru needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Meanwhile, AuSable Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 5-0 to Chazy on Tuesday. AuSable Valley haven't had much luck with Chazy recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Peru's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for AuSable Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Peru's way against AuSable Valley in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as Peru made off with a 7-0 victory. Do the Nighthawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
