Soccer Recap: Brighton Comes Up Short

Brighton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Olympus Titans who were credited with the victory. The Olympus Titans got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Brighton Bengals' two. Brighton fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Olympus since on Tuesday.

Jackson Loveland wasn't going to let Olympus walk away unscathed as he scored both of Brighton's goals, bringing his season total up to nine goals.

Brighton's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Olympus, their record is now 6-10.

Brighton wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 6-1 win against Taylorsville on the 9th. As for Olympus, they have also already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against Woods Cross on the 9th.
