Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Auburn). They blew past the Fort Chiswell Pioneers, posting an 84-57 victory. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Pioneers on January 2nd, they had to take a 64-57 defeat.

Despite the loss, Fort Chiswell saw an underclassman step up: freshman Owen Jackson posted 19 points. Jackson's evening made it 15 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Kenton Sutphin was another key player, going 5 for 12 en route to 16 points.

Auburn's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for Fort Chiswell, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-5.
