With a playoff win on the line, Lincoln Charter rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Providence Grove Patriots as they made off with an 82-56 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 23 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Providence Grove lost, don't look at Will Dabbs. Despite the final result, he en route to 24 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Andrew Thomas, who posted 11 points.

Lincoln Charter has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Providence Grove and nudges their season record down to 12-15.

Looking ahead, Lincoln Charter will take on Mount Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mount Pleasant will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Lincoln Charter surely won't give up without a fight. Providence Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
