While Porter-Gaud's victory against James Island wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cyclones skirted past the Trojans 1-0. Give Porter-Gaud's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Ava Adams, who's now up to 32 this season.

Porter-Gaud's record now sits at 19-1-1. As for James Island, they moved to 11-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
