Basketball Recap: Foxcroft Comes Up Short

If Foxcroft was riding high fresh off their 46-26 takedown of Quantico on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The game between Foxcroft and the Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets didn't end well, with Foxcroft falling 34-17. Foxcroft has struggled against Randolph-Macon Academy recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Bijou Kebbay had a dynamite gamefor Randolph-Macon Academy, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 18 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Kebbay has scored at least a third of the Yellow Jackets' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Sauvager, who posted 11 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals.

Foxcroft's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Randolph-Macon Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Foxcroft will be playing at home against Trinity Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Randolph-Macon Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Massanutten Military Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
