For the second straight game, Palmer Trinity will face off against Key West. Palmer Trinity will head out on the road to take on Key West at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Palmer Trinity is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

Palmer Trinity's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Friday's struggle, when Key West hitters got past them. Palmer Trinity came up short against Key West on Friday, falling 12-2.

For Key West's part, Brianna Brenner tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Brenner has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Vera Rodger was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Arianna Garcia also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Key West always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Palmer Trinity only posted an OBP of .273.

The win made it two in a row for Key West and bumps their season record up to 6-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Palmer Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
