Basketball Game Preview: Bangor Rams vs. Lewiston Blue Devils

Bangor is on a five-game streak of home losses, Lewiston a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Monday. The Bangor Rams will welcome the Lewiston Blue Devils at 1:00 p.m.

On Friday, Bangor ended up a good deal behind Windham and lost 81-65. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Eagles are ranked second).

Meanwhile, Lewiston hadn't done well against Edward Little recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Lewiston had just enough and edged Edward Little out 48-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Blue Devils have posted since December 13, 2024.

The victory got Lewiston back to even at 6-6. As for Bangor, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
