Wheeling Park got themselves on the board against Weir on Friday, but Weir never followed suit. They came out on top against the Red Riders by a score of 3-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). This was a revenge game for the Patriots: when they faced off against the Red Riders on April 4th, they had to take a 8-7 defeat.

Not much got past Delaney Randolph, who gave up just eight hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Weir off the board.

At the plate, Grace Tamburin was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Wheeling Park's win bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Weir, their loss dropped their record down to 21-6.

Looking ahead, Wheeling Park will welcome Indian Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Weir, they are taking a road trip to challenge John Marshall at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
