Volleyball Recap: Liberty Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Liberty had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They blew past the Freedom Falcons 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Liberty walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-20.

Liberty was led to victory by Mason Villaroman and Lorenzo Salazar. Villaroman had ten digs and five assists, while Salazar had 11 assists and three digs. That's the most assists Villaroman has posted since back in March of 2024. James Barnett III also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Liberty pushed their record up to 20-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Freedom, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Liberty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Deer Valley on the 24th. As for Freedom, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Pittsburg on the 22nd.
