Volleyball Recap: Liberty Lions vs. Freedom Falcons
Liberty had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They blew past the Freedom Falcons 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.
Liberty walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-20.
Liberty was led to victory by Mason Villaroman and Lorenzo Salazar. Villaroman had ten digs and five assists, while Salazar had 11 assists and three digs. That's the most assists Villaroman has posted since back in March of 2024. James Barnett III also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.
