Holt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Holy Spirit Catholic Saints, falling 28-13. The Ironmen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Neala Roper made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Alexandria Wilder was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Even though they lost, Holt always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Holt's record is now 2-6. As for Holy Spirit Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 2-5-1.
