Baseball Recap: Mount Tabor Comes Up Short

Mount Tabor lost against Glenn last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mount Tabor Spartans fell just short of the Glenn Bobcats by a score of 7-6. The Spartans' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Will Koonin was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Mount Tabor's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Glenn, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Mount Tabor will head out on the road to face off against Southern Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mount Tabor is facing Southern Guilford at the right time seeing as Southern Guilford is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Glenn, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Glenn Bobcats duke it out with Cornerstone Charter Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Cornerstone Charter will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Glenn surely won't give up without a fight.
