Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Lighthouse Private Christian Academy). They put the hurt on the Atmore Christian Rams with a sharp  16-3 victory on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  win of the  season.
 Garin Grant made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched. What's more,  he gave up only four  hits, the fewest he's  had since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3. What's more,  he posted two  RBI, the most he's  had since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Solomon Rials was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two  triples, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  runs marked the first that  he's  scored this season. Another player making a difference was  David Chapellin, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
 Lighthouse Private Christian Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Atmore Christian only posted  an  OBP of  .368.
The  victory made it two in a row for Lighthouse Private Christian Academy and  bumps their season record up to 4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs over those games. As for Atmore Christian,  they are  on  a  15-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Looking ahead, Lighthouse Private Christian Academy will take on Freeport at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Freeport is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3  runs per game  this season. As for Atmore Christian, they will face off against L.E.A.D. Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on March 3rd.
