The Fairfield Falcons will head out to take on the Foothill Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fairfield is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.

Fairfield's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Foothill with a sharp 18-0 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Falcons considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. Foothill dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Foothill's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Fairfield hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .331.
