Basketball Recap: Northeast Vernon County Comes Up Short

Northeast Vernon County and Drexel squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Northeast Vernon County had to settle for second. They lost 58-38 to the Drexel Bobcats. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Northeast Vernon County's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Drexel, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-9.

As of now, neither Northeast Vernon County nor Drexel have any future games scheduled.
