Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sipsey Valley). They put the hurt on the Paul W. Bryant Stampede with a sharp 11-1 win on Friday. The Bears not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since February 24th.

The victory made it two in a row for Sipsey Valley and bumps their season record up to 5-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Paul W. Bryant, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Sipsey Valley will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Tuscaloosa County at 6:30 p.m. Tuscaloosa County will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Sipsey Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Paul W. Bryant, they are taking a road trip to take on Southwest at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
