Preview: Gordon Longhorns vs. Three Way
Gordon is 5-0 against Three Way since January of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Gordon Longhorns will be home for the holidays to greet Three Way at 5:30 p.m. Hopefully Gordon is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Three Way in Texas (Gordon is ranked 566th, while Three Way is ranked 1481st).
Gordon scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They really took it to Bluff Dale for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-5 win at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Gordon has managed all season.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Three Way, who are still winless after their fourth match. They had to suffer through a rough 44-8 loss at the hands of Ranger.
Gordon has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Three Way, they bumped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Gordon against Three Way in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 69-28 win. Will Gordon repeat their success, or does Three Way have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
