There's no place like home for Chester, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Northwestern Trojans with a sharp 12-2 victory on Tuesday. The Cyclones might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by ten runs or more this season.

Chester's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Northwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.

The future could be bright for both Chester and Northwestern: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Cyclones will look to extend Columbia's six-game losing streak when they meet at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Northwestern will try to hand South Pointe their fifth-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
