Basketball Recap: Parma Comes Up Short

Parma lost against The Ambrose School last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Parma Panthers were dealt a 59-32 defeat at the hands of The Ambrose School Archers. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Tristen Trevino continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for The Ambrose School, dropping a double-double with 24 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave Trevino a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaelan Custer, who posted ten points and four steals.

Parma's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for The Ambrose School, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-7.

Parma has already played their next game, a 73-62 defeat against Marsing on the 22nd. As for The Ambrose School, they will challenge New Plymouth at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ambrose School knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matches -- so hopefully New Plymouth likes a good challenge.
