Bishop Manogue waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 51-42 victory over the Douglas Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-43 back in December of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Douglas had strong showings from Ashlyn Greenfield, who posted 12 points and seven steals, and Hailee Koontz, who scored six points and 14 rebounds. With that strong performance, Greenfield is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game.

Bishop Manogue now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Douglas, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-11.

The future could be bright for both Bishop Manogue and Douglas: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Bishop Manogue will look to extend McQueen's nine-game losing streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Douglas will try to hand Galena their eighth-straight defeat when the two meet at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
