Basketball Recap: Plymouth's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Plymouth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 48-38 to the Monroeville Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Big Red this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-38 back in December of 2024.

Plymouth's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10. As for Monroeville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Plymouth has already played their next contest (against Lucas), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Monroeville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-46 victory against Mansfield Christian on the 1st.
