Basketball Game Preview: Riverside Bulldogs vs. North Side Gators

The Riverside Bulldogs will square off against the North Side Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Riverside was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 36-31 to Leflore County.

Meanwhile, North Side came into Friday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Charleston 36-34. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Gators have posted since November 21, 2023.

North Side's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Riverside, they dropped their record down to 6-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Riverside beat North Side 49-42 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Does Riverside have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Side turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
