Gladstone took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Escanaba, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Braves' pitchers stepped up to hand the Eskymos a 1-0 shutout on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Braves have posted since April 23rd.
