Baseball Recap: Passaic Wins Going Away Against Kennedy

After only two runs in their last matchup, Passaic made sure to put some runs up on the board against Kennedy on Monday. The Indians blew past the Knights 10-2. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.

Manny Quezada spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits.

At the plate, Franklin Pena was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Randis Rosario, who went 1-for-3 with five stolen bases and two runs.

Passaic's victory bumped their record up to 8-9-1. As for Kennedy, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Passaic will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
