Football Recap: Grant Community Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Grant Community's offense. They had to suffer through a 33-0 loss at the hands of Wauconda. If Grant Community was looking for revenge after losing 42-0 to Wauconda when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Grant Community and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Wauconda, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Grant Community didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-6 defeat against Round Lake on the 17th. As for Wauconda, they have also already played their next game, a 39-13 win against Grayslake Central on the 17th.
