Baseball Recap: Shorewood's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Shorewood ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They were the clear victor by an 11-5 margin over the Glacier Peak Grizzlies. The win was just business as usual for the Stormrays, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

The team relied heavily on Jameson Connolly, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-5. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Lorenzo Jaramillo was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-5.

Shorewood's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Glacier Peak, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Shorewood will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Garfield at 4:00 p.m. As for Glacier Peak, they will face off against Everett at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Glacier Peak is facing Everett at the right time seeing as Everett is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
