Baseball Recap: Bishop Foley's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

While Bishop Foley put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Clawson. The Ventures put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 10-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Ventures as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Tad Dobek made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Bishop Foley is 3-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 5-11 otherwise. Dobek was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cooper Dolot, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Tyler Vogel, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Bishop Foley's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Clawson, their loss dropped their record down to 20-8-1.

As of now, neither Bishop Foley nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
