Softball Recap: Evanston Wins Going Away Against Payton College Prep

Evanston not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 10th (when they won 24-7). They blew past the Payton College Prep Grizzlies 15-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildkits.

Delila Liston was incredible, firing off three home runs and six RBI while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Olivia Stanczak also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Evanston kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Evanston's record now sits at 6-17. As for Payton College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 13-16-2.

Coming up, Evanston will host Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Payton College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
