Basketball Recap: Whippany Park Takes a Loss

Whippany Park was the 51-39 winner over Morristown-Beard when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Whippany Park Wildcats fell 63-53 to the Morristown-Beard Crimson on Thursday.

Whippany Park's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Morristown-Beard, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Whippany Park will venture away from home to take on West Morris Mendham at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Morristown-Beard will take on Bernards in a holiday battle at at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
