Softball Game Preview: Albert Gallatin Colonials vs. Connellsville Falcons

The Albert Gallatin Colonials will head out to take on the Connellsville Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Albert Gallatin has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Albert Gallatin couldn't beat Peters Township on Monday even though they stacked five runs on them in the seventh inning. The Colonials took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The Colonials' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Connellsville's offense. They came up short against Baldwin on Tuesday, falling 8-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

Albert Gallatin's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Connellsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Albert Gallatin couldn't quite finish off Connellsville in their previous matchup back in May of 2022 and fell 2-0. Can the Colonials avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
