Custer County came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bobcats also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Custer County took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-5, 25-11.

Sierra Foster paced Custer County's offense, picking up eight kills. Foster got some help from Stephanie Lewis and her ten assists. Hayden Hampton controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the defeat, Cripple Creek-Victor saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Katie Bennett had eight digs and two blocks.
